COSTOS ASOCIADOS A LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE INFRAESTRUCTURA TIC DE ACUERDO A LAS LICENCIAS DEL SOFTWARE UTILIZADO – REVISIÓN DOCUMENTAL

Resumen

La actividad empresarial requiere de todos los elementos necesarios para ser competitivos frente al entorno en el que se desenvuelven y una de las herramientas más valiosas es la tecnología. Gracias a esta se puede generar optimización de procesos, generación de información útil ágil y confiable para la toma de decisiones que definen el futuro de las empresas y de la economía en el ámbito nacional e internacional.

Por ello el presente documento sirve como base de investigación acerca de la conveniencia de usar software considerando los tipos de licencia disponibles hoy día en el mercado de las tecnologías de información, con el ánimo de ofrecer un acercamiento al lector acerca de las implicaciones que tiene usar Software Propietario o Software Libre / Código Abierto como alternativa de despliegue de plataformas tecnológica.

Abstract

The business activity requires all the necessary elements to be competitive with the environment in which they operate and one of the most valuable tools is technology. Thanks to this, it is possible to generate the optimization of the processes, the generation of useful information, the agile and reliable decision-making process that defines the future of companies and the economy in the national and international sphere.

For this reason, this document serves as a basis for research on the convenience of using software for the types of licenses available today in the information technology market, with the aim of offering an approach to the reader about the implications of having use Proprietary Software or Free Software / Open Source as an alternative to deploy technological platforms.
